Healthcare is one of the most important issues facing Americans today. One out of five Americans work in the healthcare industry and eventually, every single American has been or will be under the care of a doctor. We have the finest healthcare system in the world, yet the president and democrats in congress seem determined to destroy it.
But what the Democrat Congress and the President are trying to jam down the throats of Americans isn’t true healthcare reform. It’s a blatant and heavy-handed effort to take control of our healthcare. It isn’t about health or care, reform or patients. It isn’t about the doctor-patient relationship either. It’s all about control – absolute control of the lives of you and your family.
Conservative republicans and democrats alike have been closed out of the process of reforming this healthcare bill. We need to walk away from both the House and Senate versions of this abysmal legislation and start over. Let’s give the American people an opportunity to throw out these detestable members of Congress and elect new, honorable public servants who will serve the American people.
