Conservative Values

I am a family man – a son, a husband, a father and very soon, a grandfather.

I was raised to believe that hard work would be rewarded, faith and family always came first, and honesty was one of a man’s most prized characteristics. I live by these values every day. As your Congressman, I will take these values to Washington – where I believe they are in short supply – and will:

• Fight for the traditional family and to protect the sanctity of marriage.
• Fight to protect the sanctity of life while opposing any measure that uses taxpayer dollars to fund abortions at home or abroad.
• Fight to protect our freedom of religious expression that this country was founded upon.

I’m a conservative and a Constitutionalist. I believe in the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution and I believe they are as relevant and valid today as when they were written by our Founding Fathers. All the rights which we hold dear and which we Americans have fought for are found in those two documents: freedom to worship God, the right to bear arms, freedom of speech and freedom of the press. These are the rights of all Americans and they serve as the great cornerstone of our country. I want to make sure that the American dream that our generation was blessed with will be alive and well for generations to come. 

 My wife Joy and I are about to become grandparents for the very first time, and we feel it is our duty to make sure our grandchild, and your children and grandchildren, have every opportunity that we had which is to make the American dream come true.
